Jeffrey Priore Takes the Helm of the Erie County Bar Foundation as President

The Erie County Bar Foundation is pleased to announce its 2022-2023 Officers and Board of Directors. Jeffrey M. Priore, Juvenile Justice Attorney at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Inc., has succeeded Michael Perley as President. Kevin W. Spitler is now serving as Vice President. Penny B. Selmonsky and Tiffany R. Perry are the Foundation’s Treasurer and Secretary respectively.

The Directors of the Board are Dean Aviva Abramovsky, Laurie Styka Bloom, Terrence M. Connors, Hon. David L. Edmunds, Jr., Robert J. Fluskey, David E. Gutowski, Hon. Craig D. Hannah, Jesslyn A. Holbrook, Marianne Mariano, Michael F. Perley, John E. Richmond, and Pamela H. Thibodeau.

Upon assuming the Foundation Presidency, Priore stated, “I am honored to be the President of the Bar Foundation. The Foundation has done tremendous work in assisting lawyers of our community for decades and I’m looking forward to continuing that great work. Whether the lawyers of our community are struggling with substance use disorder, mental health, or physical health, the Foundation is here and we will do everything we can to help those who need it.”

About the Erie County Bar Foundation

The Erie County Bar Foundation was formed in 1957 by a small group of concerned lawyers who wanted to help a friend in need. Over the decades, hundreds of attorneys in Erie County have benefited from the timely assistance of the Foundation, the only bar foundation in the United States dedicated to helping members of the profession in times of crisis.
