Shift to Emergency Operations

Please be advised that Administrative Judge Carter in consultation with Deputy Chief Administrative Judge Murphy’s Office, has authorized a shift to emergency court operations for all courthouses located in the City of Buffalo and Lackawanna City, Thursday, January 18, 2024, effective immediately.  Buffalo and Lackawanna City Courts will be conducting emergency operations for the remainder of the day.   Physical access to these City Court facilities will be curtailed.  Except for criminal court arraignments and any emergency criminal matters, emergency civil matters will be handled virtually.
