Effective Tuesday, March 24th at 4:30 PM, the Niagara County Clerk’s Office will be closed to ALL members of the public with the exception of parties filing any court proceedings deemed essential by the New York State Unified Court System. This closure includes attorneys and title companies closing real estate deals. We will still have employees present to record all documents.
ALL REAL ESTATE RECORDINGS MUST BE TRANSMITTED VIA E-RECORD/USPS/UPS/FEDEX. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY PERSONAL DELIVERIES OR COURIER SERVICE.
To say these are unprecedented times doesn’t begin to describe our current state. The Clerk understands the importance of the work the real estate industry does and remains committed to recording documents provided the circumstances allow it.
