Bar Association of Erie County Announces Results for their 2020-2021 Board of Directors Election

At the Bar Association of Erie County’s 133rd Annual Meeting, the Association announced the results of the annual election for Board of Directors.

Joining the Board for 2020-2021 are the following. Hugh M. Russ, Hodgson Russ, LLP has been elected as Vice President. Kelley M. Omel, University at Buffalo School of Law, has been elected as Deputy Treasurer. Kara M. Addelman, Samuel A. Alba, Peter J. Crotty, Jennifer Metzger Kimura, and Kelly Barrett Sarama have been elected as Directors. Vice President Russ will assume the presidency in June 2021. Deputy Treasurer Omel will become Treasurer in June 2021. In accordance with the Association’s Bylaws, Directors serve a three-year term on the Board.

Additionally, the Association’s membership voted to elect two new members to the Nominating Committee, responsible for selecting candidates for the following year’s elections. The newly elected members of the Committee are Michael H. Kooshoian and Cheryl Meyers-Buth. The membership also voted to approve various changes to the Association’s Bylaws.
