Description
Eagan & Heimer, a law firm focused primarily on insurance defense litigation including medical malpractice, is hiring a full-time entry level Associate Attorney to add to our growing practice. Candidates can expect a team-based environment with a focus on creating a paperless office through web-based platforms.
In this role, you will learn to handle a case from initial complaint up through trial, as we focus on building a bench of skilled litigators focused on customer service. This includes drafting pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery demands, conducting and attending depositions, and drafting and arguing motions.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the New York State Bar, pending New York State Bar admission, or taking the New York State Bar in July 2024
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- An ability to independently complete tasks
- Willingness to learn
Compensation range is $65,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
Benefits also include health insurance contributions, 401k contributions (without a match requirement), paid CLE, paid bar registration, and potential hybrid schedule.
