Empire State Legal Diversity Career Fair

This year, the Bar Association of Erie County, University at Buffalo School of Law, and the Minority Bar Association of WNY are teaming up to bring back the Empire State Legal Diversity Career Fair at UB Center for Tomorrow on August 11, 2023, 8am-5pm.

This career fair is for law students, JDs, and licensed attorneys. The Job Fair is open to all applicants, with the goal of providing employment opportunities for all candidates from many different backgrounds and with varied life experiences .

The BAEC, The Minority Bar Association of Western New York and the University at Buffalo School of Law (collectively the “Job Fair”)  embrace equal employment opportunity and fully comply with all applicable law in hiring and recruitment. The Job Fair is committed to assisting students and lawyers from diverse backgrounds and with varied life experiences succeed in the legal profession and contribute to the advancement of justice and respect for the rule of law. The Job Fair operates and collaborates with the understanding that the legal community excels when everyone is welcome in all aspects of the profession.

Accordingly, recruitment of students and lawyers to the Job Fair shall been done without regard to race, sex, gender, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, or membership in any protected class. The Job Fair shall recruit from a wide variety of sources to ensure that student and lawyers with diverse backgrounds and varied life experiences are invited to participate.
