Stop DWI Program

The Criminal Law Committee of the Bar Association of Erie County is pleased to offer the “STOP DWI STUDENT ASSEMBLY” in conjunction with the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

The Stop DWI Program targets high school juniors and seniors during prom season and a panel — comprised of an attorney, a police officer and a victim of drunk driving (video tape may be used) — provides a realistic view of the drastic and life-changing effects of driving while intoxicated.  A period at the end of the program will be left for questions and discussion. The program lasts approximately one hour and, based upon past experience, is most effective in an assembly or multi-class setting.

This program is open to any school in Erie County. If you are interested in having “STOP DWI” at your school, please reach out to Sue Kohlbacher by clicking the button below.

This program is offered at no cost to your school and has been a great success in years past. We’d love to have your school on board!

The deadline to apply for the program is March 13, 2020
