#2375 Managing Vicarious Trauma in the Midst of a Pandemic

Presented  on December 8, 2020

1.0 CLE credit total: Law Practice Management (appropriate for all attorneys)

This training will focus on enhancing the mental health and well-being of professionals working in fields where they are regularly exposed to trauma and assist survivors of traumatic experiences.  In this time of remote work and social distancing how we manage these experiences has changed.  The science behind the experience of trauma will explain why the body and mind react to events in ways that compromise one’s health and performance.  Resiliency theory will be used to help develop strategies to prevent the damage that trauma can cause.  Finally, this training will provide simple but effective activities and exercises to interrupt the trauma response and make your work-at-home experience productive and safe.
