Matrimonial and Family Law Attorney – Full Time
Location: Kenmore, New York
Founded in 1976, Pusatier, Abbott, Sugarman & Martin LLP is a well-respected, small but growing law firm. We are looking for an attorney to join our team with 2-7 years of experience to handle Family Court and Matrimonial cases. The position is for a litigator, but with time, there is future potential to also get trained in and practice collaborative divorce and mediation. Whether you are looking for an associate position with potential for partnership or a merging of an established practice with ours, we are open to different options. Our firm’s main practice areas include matrimonial and family law, social security disability, personal injury, estates and mediation (divorce, business & workplace disputes).
We are looking for someone with strong research, writing, advocacy and people skills that has an ability to handle complex legal matters with professionalism and attention to detail. We pride ourselves with having a supportive team of experienced attorneys and paralegals in a warm working environment. Our philosophy of strong client advocacy coupled with a problem-solving approach has earned us a loyal client base that mostly grows from word-of-mouth referrals.
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience; however, the salary range for an associate would be $75,000 - $110,000, plus a percentage of fees from cases independently brought into the firm, plus health insurance and available retirement benefits.
