Webster Szanyi LLP, a mid-sized Western New York law firm with offices in Buffalo and East Aurora, is seeking a full-time experienced attorney to join its growing litigation team. The firm litigates commercial, employment, civil rights, personal injury, product liability, and construction matters. The successful candidate will work on a variety of matters across the firm’s practice areas.
The candidate must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have a minimum of 6 years of experience practicing litigation in state and federal court, including experience handling files, conducting depositions, motion practice, and trial related work.
The successful candidate will join a team of professionals who all work together to service our clients in the best way possible. You will enjoy a collegial environment where collaboration is the norm. Strong writing skills, research, and oral advocacy skills are required, along with the ability to work autonomously. Attorneys interested in a path toward potential future ownership opportunities are especially encouraged to apply, as well as attorneys who have a partial book of business. From the outset, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of files, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and interfacing directly with clients.
Six-figure salary ($130,000 - $175,000), commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus year-end bonus opportunities.
