November 3, 2025 – The Bar Association of Erie County’s Board of Directors met on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, and unanimously adopted a statement by the American Bar Association concerning the Department of Justice’s independence from political influence.
The independence of the Department of Justice from political influence is crucial for upholding the rule of law and maintaining a fair and just democracy, and maintaining public trust and confidence.
