In this CLE, speaker Florina Altshiler focuses on the development of a tool box of negotiation tools and strategies that are easily applicable to newer attorneys, especially female attorneys, in a variety of settings, including interviewing, salary negotiations, managing office relationships and receiving credit for work done, mediations, and interactions with Judges and other court officials. Development of an outline of the legal and ethical considerations for the disclosure of confidential employment records, both on behalf of a potential new hire and on behalf of a former employer, so that attorneys know what to expect and can strategize accordingly when negotiating with a potential employer.
