New York Courts Closed Monday January 26.

Due to severe weather, all New York State courts in the 8th Judicial District will be closed to the public on January 26, 2026, and will shift to emergency operations. Emergency matters will be handled virtually. City Court custodial criminal arraignments will proceed in person at their usual times. All other matters will be administratively adjourned to the next business day.
Conditions will be reviewed in the morning to determine whether any timing adjustments are needed for in-person custodial criminal arraignments, and court-specific updates will be shared as appropriate.
