Description
Stewart Title is seeking Title Underwriter candidates with related real property title experience to join our expanding team in Upstate NY. Title underwriters examine real property titles, analyze title risks, prepare title reports and commitments for insurance, and partner with our customers in all facets of insured title transactions. The successful candidate will regularly collaborate with our staff examiners and underwriters across upstate New York to analyze and resolve challenging title issues. 5+ years of experience working with real property titles is desirable. A law degree and supervisory experience is a plus. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and a drive to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment are required.
