One full-time position available for a Senior Attorney to provide representation to children in Erie County Family, Supreme, and Surrogate’s Court in no less than 220 cases each year, and assist the Chief Attorney with the management of the Children’s Legal Center, including under the direction of the Chief Attorney, assist with the coordination and supervision of the activities of office staff members, act as a resource to staff attorneys and office staff, and assist with oversight of administrative operations as needed, in accordance with office policies and procedures developed by the Chief Attorney and approved by the Appellate Division, Fourth Department. This is a contract position. No fringe benefits are provided. General overhead costs and support staff are provided by the Appellate Division, Fourth Department. Admission to the practice of law for a minimum of four years and substantial experience in the representation of children, as well as supervisory experience and experience in office administration, is preferred. The contract agreement between the Appellate Division, Fourth Department and the Senior Attorney will provide for full-time equivalent compensation of $125,000.
