Real Estate Attorney
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience in Real Estate law and transactions, and an excellent understanding of title examinations, certificates and insurance, deed packages, contracts, mortgage payoffs, and other closing actions. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on legal issues related to real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Drafting and negotiating residential real estate contracts
- Handling real estate closings, including the preparation of necessary documents and title searches
- Commercial acquisitions, sales, and financing
- Experience in title matters and acting as examining counsel in connection with residential and commercial closings
- Manage and organize paralegal workload
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed in New York State to practice law.
- Minimum of least five years of experience, ten years preferred.
Compensation:
$90,000 – $145,000 yearly, depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
