Description
The Town of Amherst in Erie County, NY is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Deputy Town Attorney assisting the Town Attorney in rendering legal counsel to the Supervisor, Town Board and Town Departments as well as representing the Town in civil litigation. Strong written and verbal communication, professionalism and independent judgement required. Applicants must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of New York. Experience in Land Use, Real Estate, Municipal Law strongly preferred. $95,018.13 - $115,726.32 salary commensurate based upon experience, with enrollment in New York State Retirement System and excellent benefits package available.
