Associate Attorney – Full Time – Suburban law office
Attea & Attea, P.C., with its main office located in the Village of Hamburg, NY, is seeking a full time associate attorney to concentrate in the areas of litigation, matrimonial actions and estate administration. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience preferred. Qualifications:
Attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New York and in good standing
Strong attention to detail with ability to manage several matters in a fast-paced work environment
Experience working directly with clients and cultivating relationships
Ability to learn quickly and work independently once given a task
Responsibilities will include:
Drafting pleadings
Preparing disclosure demands and responses
Preparing motions and opposition to motions
Assisting in conducting and defending depositions
Preparing probate and administration petitions, inventories and accountings
Reviewing files to determine the next necessary actions
Conducting legal research
Drafting memoranda
Working with and communicating directly with clients
Appearing in various courts
Collaborating with a small team and reporting work status to partner
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $90,000 annually – commensurate with experience
