Decades after the Holocaust, we are still seeing headlines about the long fight for restitution after the looting of artwork from Jewish victims by the Nazis. WNY native Claudia Jaffe, partner at Dunnington, Bartholow & Miller LLP will speak about the history & their experiences successfully assisting families of victims in receiving restitution at long last.

Eileen Brankovic, International Business Director and Senior Vice President of Christie’s auction house will present “Christie’s Restitution Case Studies – Looting to Flight Assets – an Overview of Recent Auction Sales”, giving a global overview of Christie’s restitution efforts and provide insights for legal practitioners seeking to advise families of Holocaust victims as well as current holders of objects that may have been spoliated during the Nazi-era.
