The court is operating normally and remains open for regular business at this time during the government shutdown. All proceedings remain as scheduled and all deadlines remain in effect, unless otherwise modified in individual cases or by General Order. Notice Regarding Sealed Documents

Effective immediately, documents filed under seal in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York after August 21, 2025, will not be accessible via the electronic case-management system (CM/ECF), even for case participants. Parties are encouraged to securely store their own copies of any document filed under seal.
