This seminar will provide an overview of the Elder Law legal landscape three years after the enactment of the D.R.A. The seminar will consist of three member panels who will provide an overview of the topic areas and then a round table discussion with questions and answers during each session. The four three- member panels will cover Community Based Programs such as CASA, Long Term Home Health Care, TBI Program and the Nursing Home Diversion Program; Skilled Nursing Medicaid — including effective planning tools and a Practical Case Study that will explore a variety of planning options in a nuts and bolts presentation and recent and proposed developments in the field of Elder Law including an in-depth analysis of the new Power of Attorney, recent cases and proposed and/or pending legislation.
