The Professional Ethics Committee researches questions involving lawyer conduct brought to it by individual attorneys or judges (whether members of the bar or not), and with the approval of the Board of Directors, the committee issues formal opinions. The committee also offers quick informal research to help attorneys decide what to do and how to do it. Inquiries should be addressed to the Chair of the Professional Ethics Committee at the Bar Association's offices.
