· Research issues related to Medicaid, SSI, and other trusts and estates issues
· Advise clients regarding establishment of trusts and ongoing administration
· Draft pleadings related to Article 81 guardianship proceedings
· Handle probate files
· Assist in resolving litigated trust and estate matters
· Draft trusts, petitions and guardianship/adoption documents
· Conduct will signings and appearances/meetings related to adoptions
· Appear at guardianship hearings
· Represent clients in Surrogate’s and Supreme Court
· 1-3 years or more of trusts and estates experience
· Admission to the New York bar required
· Must have excellent research and writing skills
· Must have excellent verbal communication and client service skills
· Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
· Military experience a plus
